Jason Riggle received his PhD from UCLA in 2004 and joined the faculty of the University of Chicago in 2005. Dr. Riggle is a fellow in the Computation Institute and the director of the Chicago Language Modeling Lab. Dr. Riggle's research interests include: (Computational) Optimality Theory, Learnability Theory, Agent-based models of language evolution, and modeling multi-lingual and multi-dialectal acquisition.
