Anqi Zhang recently obtained her Ph.D. in Linguistics from the University of Chicago in August, 2018. In her dissertation, she studies the semantics of the non-culminating accomplishment predicates in Mandarin. Before she joined the Ph.D. program at the University of Chicago, Anqi graduated from Brown University with a B.A (honors) in Linguistics and a B.A. in Egyptology in 2012. She is from Shenzhen, China, and she speaks Cantonese and Mandarin natively.
