Prof. Jasone Cenoz specializes in Applied Linguistics and works on the study of on multilingual education, bilingualism, multilingualism, linguistic landscape and minority languages. She is very interested in the acquisition of Basque, Spanish and English in school contexts and in higher education. Her recent work focuses on focus on multilingualism and pedagogical translanguaging in language and content learning. Prof. Cenoz worked at the University of the Basque Country Departments of English Studies and Research Methods in Education. She is member of the Advisory Board for the Organization of Ibero-American States (Organización de Estados Iberoamericanos), and of the Basque Institute for Research and Evaluation in Education. She is also on the Governing Board of the Iseak Foundation.
