Call for Submissions: College Journal of Linguistics
As part of our mission to encourage undergraduate research in linguistics, the College Journal of Linguistics at the University of Chicago is currently seeking submissions for its 2026 issue. We are a student-run, peer-reviewed, and annually published academic journal at the University of Chicago dedicated to undergraduate and graduate research in any relevant subfield of linguistics or closely related fields. The Journal serves as a platform for emerging scholars to contribute original work to the wider linguistic community and embraces interdisciplinary approaches to linguistic research. We encourage all things language and linguistics related, and welcome submissions of any original research including but not limited to formal research papers, term papers, and squibs.
We accept both undergraduate and graduate research. The manuscript should be original research pertaining to a field in linguistics or relevant topics and not under review or consideration by another journal.
Final submission deadline: July 31, 2026
We look forward to receiving your submissions!
