Brianna Wilson’s current work focuses on sociosyntax and sociopragmatics. For her dissertation, she is working on a sociolinguistic analysis of unbound reflexive pronouns in English. Previously, Brianna has researched the syntax of Iquito, an endangered language of the Peruvian Amazon, and focused on topics including reality status, negation, and discontinuous constituents. Originally from Colorado, she did an independent major in Linguistic Theory at Grinnell College in Iowa and an MA in Comparative Syntax and Semantics at the University of York.
