Research Interests:
Multilingualism, Language Contact, Sociolinguistics, Historical Linguistics, Morphology, Syntax, Sumerian and Akkadian, Mesopotamian Archaeology
I am a PhD candidate in Cuneiform Studies and Linguistics. My research focuses on language contact between Sumerian and Akkadian and the reconstruction of the sociolinguistic history of third-millennium Mesopotamia. I am also interested in the morphology and syntax of Sumerian. I am Assistant Curator of the Nippur Tablet Project at the Institute for the Study of Ancient Cultures and member of the Nippur Archaeological Expedition.
