Dr. Melinh Lai is an Assistant Instructional Professor and Program Coordinator for the undergraduate major in cognitive science. She teaches a variety of courses in the Cognitive Science Program while also helping to develop new programs and resources for students in the major. Her graduate research used electrophysiological methods (specifically event-related potentials) to study mechanisms of prediction within language comprehension, and she maintains research interests in prediction, language, and memory.
