Zeineb is a Ph.D. student who works on various Semitic languages, with a focus on syntax and semantics. Their dissertation research is on the syntax of pronominal clitics in spoken Arabic, with an emphasis on Tunisian. In the past, they have worked on issues of tense and aspect in Semitic languages and on different topics in Arabic dialectology (history of Maghrebi Arabic, isoglosses within the North African group of dialects, Arabic sociolinguistics).
